When I’m wearing the right outfit, I love a pair of sandals just as much as the next lady, but most days, I’m a sock girl! Basically if you were ever to stop by my house unannounced, you can pretty much bet that you will find me in my socks! So often on this blog, I share recipes I’ve made for my family, and if you stick around here long enough, you’ll find that we are no stranger to hot and spicy foods. We love hot wings and Mexican food; sometimes we even try Asian cooking! Throughout the year I enjoy my share of milkshakes, floats, sundaes, and other yummy ice cream creations. The hot summer weather just gives me an excuse to enjoy it even more! With the hot summer weather, comes summer grilling! Like many households, here at Simply Sweet Home, my husband is the Grill King! Not only does he do a great job of cooking up meats to perfection, but he is also a master when it comes to creating custom sauces and marinades.
