Friday Favorites – Week 299 – With Fun Christmas Foods

Hello everyone! Happy Friday!  Can you believe we are only one week away from Christmas!  AH!  I don’t know about you but I still have a lot of presents to wrap and a few to buy.  And I still have to decide what to cook! Eek!

And on a less important note, next week is week 300 of our party! Woot!  I wanted to host a giveaway to celebrate this, but since holidays are usually a “slow week” for the party, I may postpone a giveaway for a few weeks.  So just stay tuned!

As for this week, we have an array of fun Christmas foods.  I know you will LOVE these!

Also, while you’re here, I invite you to enter our giveaways from Vera Premium Dog Treats and a Rockwell Tools BladeRunner Saw!

Poise Impressa Bladder Supports and a Coupon

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Poise. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you ever experienced bladder leakage? Believe it or not, it is a very common problem, with 1 in 3 women experience it (That’s 35 million women!) and 1 in 5 experiencing stress urinary incontinence.  This is a urine leak that occurs when you do things like laugh, cough, sneeze, dance, and exercise.

As you know, I always love to talk about simple solutions, and today we have a simple solution that anyone with light bladder leakage and stress urinary incontinence will be thrilled to heart about.

The folks at Poise specialize in products to help with the problem.  You’ve probably seen their liners before, but they also have a new product: Poise Impressa Bladder Supports.

This is the first and only over-the-counter internal product that is designed to help stop leaks before they happen.  The product is inserted like a tampon, but rather than absorb leaks, it actually stops them by gently lifting and supporting the uretha.

It is both comfortable and effective, and it is also safe to use.  And the product can be used for up to 8 hours, leaving you free to enjoy your day!

Poise Impressa Bladder Supports are available in three sizes.  Before purchasing the product, you should try out the sizing kit to see which of the three sizes is most comfortable and most effective for you.

Check out this video for more information about the benefits of this product:

Want to try this product?  Here’s a printable Poise Impressa coupon

Please remember to use this product as directed, and please see your doctor to discuss long term solutions to stress urinary incontinence and other health issues.  You should also note that the product is not for anyone under age 21, and is not to be used by anyone who’s pregnant or has experienced unusual vaginal bleeding or discharge, pain during urination, or anyone who’s had vaginal surgery in the last three months.

5 Tasks to Complete Before Holiday Guests Arrive

Softsoap FoamsStock your bathroom.  Toilet paper is obviously a must, as well as hand towels, and don’t forget the soap.  SoftSoap has an excellent fragrant foam collection.  It includes such varieties as Kitchen Citrus Bliss, Jasmine & White Cotton, and Whipped Cocoa Butter.

Not only will these leave your guests hands feeling fresh and smelling clean, but the bottles are very stylish and are great for adding a little splash of color to your sink or vanity.

Stock your fridge.  During the holidays it’s always important to keep your drinks stocked, including some that you may not normally have on hand.  Consider who’s coming over and whether they have any special dietary needs or personal preferences. (Perhaps you don’t drink coffee, but you have an avid coffee drinker staying for the week.  Or perhaps you have a diabetic in the family who drinks diet sodas.)

Stock the pantry. Whether you’re having overnight guests, or you are just looking for something to put out for the kids to snack on before dinner, extra snacks in the pantry is a must! Homemade or store bought party mixes are a great snack to have on hand for folks of all ages, as well chips and dips, nuts, or cheese and crackers.

Clean.  This should go without saying, but I have to include it here: Clean your house.  Apart from taking care of clutter in your living, dining, and kitchen areas, it is amazing to see how far just a quick wipe down of your sinks and counters will do…not to mention mopping the floor.  Even more so than how great everything looks, it makes a huge difference in how your house smells.

Air Fresheners.  Speaking of how your house smells, after cleaning (and especially if you don’t have time to do a major clean up) make your house smell warm and inviting using your favorite air freshers.  I love scented oil plug-ins and candles.  (And you can always use essential oils for the purpose of cleaning and making your house smell good.)

Rock Someone’s Holiday – Rockwell Tools Giveaway – DIY Room Building Tutorial

Rockwell BladeRunner X2 Review and Giveaway

If you are a DIYer or have a handy man spouse, than today’s post is definitely for you! If you read my blog enough, you’ll often hear me refer to my husband as my Mr. Fix It!  Anytime I need something fixed or improved, or I want to build something, I just tell him my idea, and he puts a plan in to action.

Most recently we’ve been working on a new “Project Room” in our outbuilding. I would call it a craft room, but my husband will be working in there too, and “craft room” just doesn’t sound like a very manly place to be. (Haha!)  So it’s a project room, or workshop, if you will.

As with any project we take on, we need tools to fix up the room.  One tool that has been very helpful with this project is the BladeRunner X2 from Rockwell Tools. [Read more…]

Each year I look forward to spoiling my furbabies with treats and toys for Christmas.  (And okay….I also enjoy shopping for them all year round!)

Santa recently brought some early presents for my kitties and puppy.  Our dog, Shadow, received some Vera Premium Dog Treats.  The treats are products from a brand partner of the great folks at True Science.  I’ve been so excited over the last couple of months to work with the folks at True Science and share their wonderful treats and flea medications with my animals! Mens Essentials Stocking

Christmas is just around the corner!  Have you done all your holiday shopping yet?  Our son is 15, and believe it or not, we’ve not only bought almost all of his presents, but we’ve actually already given him most of his gifts.  I think it started back in October; our Etsy shop had a huge order, and we decided to splurge on a few things.

In that whole process, we decided to go ahead and buy him a computer desk that he’s been begging us for.  Then his computer chair needed replacing….next we took advantage of some Black Friday clothing sales and decided to let him go ahead and have those items so that he could wear them to school, and I guess you could say that it then spiraled out of control with a video game here and a video game there, etc.

But we’re still going to get him one or two “fun gifts” and some essentials so that he will have something to open for Christmas! [Read more…]
